Check this out: Should men take women’s last names when married?

The man taking the woman’s last name when married. So interesting! Being from the Southern U.S., this is not something that I ever considered until recently. It’s incredible how much of a stink it stirs up! Even people who call themselves feminists have issues with this. Wow. Such deep-rooted tradition that spans cultures, centuries and generations.

Personally, I would totally choose the last name that sounds better. Ha.

Here in latin cultures, the woman takes the man’s last name and adds “de” in front of it to signify “of.” Now that, I could not do.
