Check this out: The Indigenous People’s Movement in Canada

This isn’t the best-written article ever (it covers multiple topics very quickly), but the topic is very important regardless.

Aboriginal or indigenous peoples are traditionally overpowered by their oppressive governments and the case is no different in Canada. Thankfully the indigenous aren’t being completely ignored in Canada. Though there are still hundreds of unresolved issues, this article gives a brief overview of some of the current ones. Though they did leave out the issue of the murders of hundreds of aboriginal women. 😦
