Again, New York is paving the way for sustainable cities.

This is really an idea that should have been implemented 50 years ago. It’s RIDICULOUS the amount of food that is wasted in schools, especially elementary schools with the “picky eater” craze (really it’s the “pushover parents” craze).

You can read more statistics in this linked article below, but to sum it up, this is a GREAT initiative and I hope that it takes off not only in New York City, but in the entire USA.
