Check this out: Congo’s Badass Women Mechanics

There are some very smart and advantageous women in Goma, DRC!

Through a training program provided by ETN in partnership with CARE International, young people who have few opportunities or who have been abused are given training for 6 months in a variety of subjects. One of which is Mechanics, and even the girls don’t shy away from it.

The women and teenage girls know the demand in the DRC for Mechanics (bad roads = car damage), so they work hard to learn in order to be able to start a successful trade in the future.
