Check this out: Producing Business Cards for Everyone

This is 22 year old Natasha Viljoen from South Africa.

She has turned an amazingly simple idea into a successful project and life-changer for local artisans in Cape Town.

Natasha is a designer and her philosophy is that design can incite social change and development once people become aware of their socio-economic situation and their everyday surroundings. By using what we have readily available, we can improve our situations and the world around us.

Natasha worked with local artisans to create individual business cards to create an identity for each artisan and to connect them with the local community and the digital world.

Something as simple as a business card is actually HUGE. On a larger socio-economic scale, readily having your information available for your market audience is oftentimes crucial to succeeding in business.

Natasha is onto some big, and I would love to see this replicated in artisan communities all over the world.
