Check this out: Girls Court

NO ONE should have to grow up as these children have. I don’t understand why we have created modern societies focused on solving problems rather than preventing them.

Most of the girls who are forced into prostitution, homelessness, stealing, etc. arrived at this means because of family members who are drug addicts, abused themselves, impoverished, and living in very dangerous areas. They grew up in this environment and can’t imagine anything better because they don’t even have their most basic needs met.

Thankfully a group of Courts around the United States is doing something to bring about a change. They are called “Girls Courts” and they are specifically for girls who have been recruited as child prostitutes or considered at risk for involvement. The Judge, defendants and others are all trained to work with these girls and to give them to best treatment to get their life on a healthy track.

Check out the article below to see how this court is helping girls in need.
