Buying only what we need and love/want is such a powerful concept, especially for the X and Y Generations.
I appreciated this article by Maxwell Tielman (posted on Design*Sponge, link below) because he writes so eloquently about the situation. Honestly, the whole materialism culture completely sickens me. When I try to write advice to combat this epidemic, it usually comes across very negative and condescending (sorry!).
So I’ll leave it to Max to give us a little reminder of how we can ALL be more conscious of our purchases.
