Check this out: Community Crowdfunding Platform

THIS is what I’ve been dreaming about!!!! I’m so happy to see that YES communities like this exist. I hope to make a change in my current community, so wish me luck.

Basically individuals and businesses have formed a group to talk about ways to best improve their communities, often through better local systems or processes to use resources more efficiently.

But just in general, this makes such an impact on a community! Once the word gets out, neighbors come together to pitch in for the efforts because most people are proud of where they live and want it to be the best it can be.

This example in Denver is one that can easily be replicated in communities all over the world. It just takes the spark of a few people and the next thing you know, you’re making fireworks!

Sounds like your Peace Corps experience follows you! I hope this goes well. You have a knack for enthusiasm and seeing the big picture of how things can be better if everyone would just do a little. Keep us posted on the progress.
