Check this out: Walkable Cities Ted Talk

I really enjoyed Jeff Speck’s message in his Ted Talk from September 2013 (at TedCity2.0). Sometimes I get quite discouraged with issues that are directly dependent on government action. But I am proud of people like Jeff who are brave enough to speak out and start a conversation (and maybe a movement!) for the RIGHT thing to do.

Unfortunately it doesn’t really seem in this day and age that government is for the people anymore. We have to fight tooth and nail to be heard, or just have lots of money to be given attention.

So fight on Jeff! I’ve got your back!
