I like the idea of Sustainable Farming, but I wonder just how sustainable it is at such high land prices (high rentals too) and food prices… Organic food is only affordable by the richest in America. If we want to create larger and more numerous Sustainable Farms, there also has to be a demand for the products. At current prices and pay checks, this would never be possible unfortunately.
I’d like to hope more sustainable practices are possible, but I just honestly don’t see how they could expand with the current economic state of the USA.
