Kill the Television

It just keeps getting worse and worse.

You know, this is one of those things where almost everyone will agree with you, but almost NO ONE has the willpower to do it.

What IS it about television programs, trashy shows, gossip, reality television, etc. that has us SO glued to them? It’s literally like a tunnel that sucks you in and is almost impossible to escape from. We’ve all experienced it.

The only way to avoid it is to not even start down the path…

And the best way to do that is to GET RID OF YOUR TELEVISION or CANCEL YOUR CABLE SUBSCRIPTION. It will be the best thing you have ever done, I swear to you. Imagine the countless hours you have wasted in front of that thing. And where has it gotten you? Are you a better person? Are you smarter? Wiser? Do you have better relationships? Have you experienced more of life?

I think we will all agree that the television and cable networks are not bettering our lives. But oh how they give us crap to think about and talk about mindlessly with our friends. It actually brings friends together in this day and age… strange.

I just can’t help but to think of all the billions of people who could be helped every single minute of every single day if we all threw away the televisions and used our talents and saved money for the greater good of our fellow brethren.

Next up, killing the internet. Wait wait wait. Not so fast my friend… 😉
