Teaching in Difficult Circumstances

I really admire the courageous men and women who decide against going into lucrative careers and instead turn to teaching, empowering our future leaders instead of enriching themselves and giant corporations.

This is one brief account of one such individual, Ilana Garon, who teaches in New York City. I encourage you to give it a read, either to move you to possibly make the same move for needy kids, or to just be inspired from a modern-day saviour.
