Great Organization – MATAR, helping women in Syria

This is the work of Syrian women who have been displaced because of the war in their country.  These women can earn a living wage for themselves and their children. Many of them live in new places with people they don’t know, possibly family members of their husband who mistreat them. It’s also very possible their husband is dead because of the war.

Earning a living wage gives freedom to these women. Freedom from oppression from the men who attempt to control them. Freedom to make their own decisions when the opportunity comes. Freedom to give their children a better life than what is seen around them.

I encourage you to browse their website and purchase something if you feel inclined.

We should also be so very thankful to the founder of this organization, , for doing what is right and good amongst all of the difficulty and stress.

Home – MATAR.
